DR. JOEL SCHWARTZ
Dr. Schwartz graduated from American University with a major in chemistry in 1976 and went on to graduate from The University Of Maryland Dental School in 1980. He then joined the Navy and lived in Maryland, Japan, Hawaii, California and finally back to Maryland. Upon retiring from the Navy, Dr. Schwartz went into private practice. He is happily married to Robyn,a dental hygienist, and has 3 children. Zachary is attending the Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland, Evan is in high school and Samantha is in middle school. DR. JOHN UPHOFF
Dr. John Uphoff is a 1979 graduate of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. Following dental school, Dr. Uphoff completed a one-year General Practice Residency at David Grant Medical Center, Travis AFB, California. Dr. Uphoff served in both the US Air Force and US Army Dental Corps. During his 26 years of service he completed a 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry and became a Diplomate of the Federal Service Board of General Dentistry and the American Board of General Dentistry. Dr. Uphoff served in California, Michigan, Texas, Turkey, Washington State, Afghanistan, and at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He is a member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Uphoff has been married to his lovely wife Janet since 1979. They have two daughters, Karen and Kimberly. Both daughters dance ballet professionally, Karen with American Ballet Theater in New York and Kimberly with the Boston Ballet. He joined our practice in August of 2007.
DR. DAVID GLYNN
Dr. Glynn graduated in 1980 from Fairleigh Dickinson Dental School in New Jersey and practiced as a general dentist until 1987. He completed his periodontal training at the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore and became Board Certified in periodontics in 1992. For the last 4 years, Dr. Glynn has taught periodontics and implant dentistry at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School and retired from the Navy after 25 years of service. He joined our practice in 2009. Dr. Glynn enjoys golf, travel and biking. He is married and has a 5 year old daughter.
